-Dr. Shay Bess is the Principal Investigator for the prestigious Scoliosis Research Society Directed Research Grant leading a groundbreaking project to develop a multicultural outcomes assessment tool for adult spinal deformity, coordinating research efforts across Europe, Japan, Korea, India, Latin America, and the Middle East.
-The Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Joint Section on Spinal Disorders presented Dr. Shay Bess in February of 2025 with the Orthopedic Meritorious Award for his commitment to excellence, leadership, and substantial contributions to the advancement of spine surgery and spine research.
